Riot launches RiotX Arcane to promote upcoming Netflix show

With the upcoming Arcane show, Riot are celebrating across their various games.

To the excitement of many, League of Legends will finally be having its own full length animated show called Arcane. This has been long awaited, and now it’s so close to release! So in order to promote it, Riot are working on various projects to help bring awareness to the new show.

One of the ways they’ve done this is with RiotX Arcane. RiotX Arcane is the celebration of a lot of things including the release of Arcane, games, and the moments that bring us together. Now Riot are eagerly wanting to celebrate the launch of the new show.

RiotX Arcane events

The core of RiotX Arcane can be broken into three parts. Each of which have a different date and events:

League World Finals and Arcane Premiere Super Weekend 

November 6th

As the show will premiere, so will he Worlds Finals. With an Arcane-themed Show Open presented by Mastercard. Featuring music straight from the show.

Worlds Show Open begins on November 6th at 5:00 AM PT and features musical performances from Imagine Dragons, Bea Miller, JID, and Denzel Curry.

Arcane’s Global Premiere kicks off on Twitch on November 6th at 5:30 PM PT.

Progress Days

November 7 – November 13

Later will be the Progress Days. A Piltovan celebration of progress and innovation across their entire ecosystem.

Undercity Nights

November 14 – November 20

In the finale weekend will be a deep dive into Zaun. And a celebration of their community in their Undercity Nights event. Help both in-person and online.

RiotX Arcane Games

Naturally, there will also be gaming content. And here’s how all the various games will be celebrating RiotX Arcane.

League of Legends

League of Legends will be diving deeper into the world of Arcane, releasing free Arcane skins inspired by the show, a variety of thematic updates to Summoner’s Rift, and Preseason 2022 updates. Two new interactive experiences will also be revealed in the coming week!

  • Free Arcane-inspired skins for Jayce, Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx
  • Preseason 2022 Update featuring new elemental drakes, items, and runes
  • Caitlyn Art & Sustainability Update
  • Map accents on Summoner’s Rift and more!

League of Legends: Wild Rift features new ways to play, bringing two popular champs, daily login rewards, free skins inspired by Arcane, and showcasing Piltover’s most iconic rivalries.

  • Arcane Experience in-game event
  • Arcane Jinx and Vi skins available free through daily login rewards
  • Jayce and Caitlyn’s long-awaited release in the Hextech Heist event
  • Themed weeks in Guild vs Guild, including Jinx vs Vi

Legends of Runeterra will celebrate with the release of a permanent new game mode that enables players to journey through Runeterra as their favorite champions, including a special series of storyful adventures in Piltover and Zaun featuring Jinx & co. 

  • The release of a new permanent PvE mode, The Path of Champions
  • New Champion: Jayce
  • Thematic support cards from Piltover & Zaun
  • Mega Event Pass

Teamfight Tactics will keep the Gizmos & Gadgets party going with an all-new game mode, and some small surprises with a BIG impact.

  • Gizmos & Gadgets set release
  • Arcane-themed Tacticians including the introduction of new Chibi Champions 
  • A new Double Up mode for you to play with your friends

RiotX Arcane Valorant

VALORANT will be celebrating the moment with Arcane cosmetics and bundles so you can deck yourself out in prep for Episode 3 Act 3.
